L’Oreal’s Go 360° Clean: Review

After Fashion Week was over I stood back and marveled at the haul I had collected. My kitchen floor was temporary home to several swag bags and I was giddy because I LOVE me some free stuff. After the week was over I combed through the bags. I had obtained a lot of interesting things among them a bottle of DIY wine, lash serum (just like Apps, there is a serum for everything) and the most bizarre gift of all, underarm protectors. I can’t even make this stuff up. As intrigued as I was by the underarm protectors that promised to save me from embarrassing sweat stains, the product that intrigued me the most was the L’Oreal Go 360° Clean (please reference the image above which BTW, I stole from Google Image). As most Fashionistas know, the most recent edition of Fashion Week wrapped well over a month ago and as intrigued as I was with the Go 360° Clean, up until a week ago it’s just been sitting on porcelain in my bathroom gathering dust.
First I must say that the thing that drew me to the Go360° Clean in the first place was not any of the claims made on the product but that Oval brush with the bristle like cleaning surface and that little handle that you’re supposed to hold between your fingers. Go figure, I’m a sucker for novelty items. So you’re supposed to squirt the exfoliating formula on the brush and work it over your face, then rinse, repeat if necessary. Now I don’t know if there were any serious claims on the packaging like restoring youth or minimizing lines because I’m very easily distracted and I’m pretty sure I stopped reading the benefits after a line or two. What I can tell you is that I’ve been using this product for the past week at least twice a day and it does give your face a good clean. I like the gentle scrub and the subtle suds of whatever is in the cleaning serum (like I mentioned before, serum for everything). It seems to take off whatever remaining make-up is left from your make-off regime. I haven’t noticed anything mind blowing but I have noticed the dirt coming off and that my face feels considerably cleaner. As far as comparisons to other products, I won’t go there because I usually just use a make-up remover wet wipe. If you are looking for a good clean wash for your face, I think this is a good product to spend your $10 bucks or under on, if you’re looking for miracles, beauty buyer, beware.
